Better late than never...

Well that certainly does seem to be the theme of our lives for the past few months. We apologize if we have not been in touch as much as we like (or if we missed your birthday, anniversary, etc.). We have finally made it to our new home in Lexington, but we're still getting settled in.

School started this past week at the University of Kentucky. Any of you who are familiar with the FOCUS mission know that the first few weeks of school are busy (to say the least). Seeker studies (introductory Bible studies), dorm visits, picnics and BBQ's, camping trips and meetings are just some of the things that keep the team busy in these early weeks. We are so grateful to continue on with this mission and are excited to see what kind of fruit we will bear here in Lexington. More updates from campus to come in the next month or so...

At home we are keeping busy with a crawling and teething baby! Caitrin is almost 8 months old and growing ever-so-quickly. She is not only crawling, but constantly pulling herself up holding on to whatever she can find (a shelf, table, wall, etc.). Back in May she got her two bottom teeth and this month she started getting four top teeth (all at once). We're still not sure if it's better to get many teeth at once or one at a time. Nonetheless, she is such a source of joy for us and a constant reminder of God's desire for us to be child like. Oh, to have the innocence and faith of a child again!

We have so many things to be thankful for and look forward to sharing more about life in Lexington with you soon. On another note: Brittany's grandfather just celebrated his 80th birthday this past week! What a blessing!!!
