Hello dear blog readers! We hope you are doing well during these final weeks of Lent. We cannot believe that Easter is almost here. Perhaps it's even harder to believe that Caitrin is three months old today. She is doing great and growing fast! It's truly hard to believe how much change has taken place in only three months. She is "talking" a lot more and is scooting around (on her back) too.
In the past few months she has probably traveled more than most anyone we know. In three short months she has traveled to: Covecrest (Life Teen camp) twice, Atlanta/Peachtree City, Raleigh and Greenville, SC (three or four times). We feel so blessed to have so many great friends in a close proximity. We have been able to spend a good bit of time with our dear friends the Mosley's. Rachel and Stephen are friends of Brittany's from Pensacola (she has known Rachel since she was in middle school and Stephen since she was in high school). They live in Greenville with their three children (Abby-4, Lilly Grace-2 and Jacob-6 months). We are hoping that Caitrin and Jacob (pictured above) will one day fall in love and have many red-headed children. (Her only other option is to join the Sisters of Life, so we'll see...)
More pictures will be added to the slide show soon, so please check back!
We are also excited to celebrate the engagement of our good friends Lisa and Andy. CONGRATS you two!!! Lisa was a roommate of Brittany's at FSU and Andy and Tom were good friends as well. It has been a joy to know them and an even greater joy to witness their call to the sacrament of marriage together.
Tom was able to join his fellow east-coast missionaries in NYC last weekend while Brittany and Caitrin traveled to Raleigh to see Brittany's grandparents, aunts and cousins. Tom's trip to NYC was packed: Central Park, Wall Street, Time Square and Battery Park just to name a few.
Things on campus are also going very well! We are particularly excited to celebrate the Easter Vigil next week (one of the girls in Brittany's Bible Study is coming into the Church-- CONGRATS to Courtney) and to celebrate such a blessed occasion at the Abbey. We have already seen a great deal of change on campus and are excited to see what God will continue to do in the final weeks of school. It's hard to believe that the semester will end next month and we'll be packing our bags to head to FOCUS New Staff Training in Illinois for 5 weeks.
We are so grateful for your support and prayers! Please know that we think of you all daily and offer you up in our prayers.
May the sacrifices of Lent bring you closer to Our Lord!
